If health of humans is concerned, then quality will be of utmost importance. Thus, we developed a quality management system together with Dr. K. Börchers, managing director of the company QM-Systemberatung im Gesundheitswesen, Herne, and assistant lecturer at the University of Duisburg-Essen. It defines definite processes and high standards with all activities of Breyer Eye Surgery: service, consulting, examination and treatment in accordance with the European standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2008. We demonstrably meet all relevant hygiene requirements of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI). In April 2009 such QM system was approved by the independent certification company i-med-cert GmbH. Since then, our employees are trained in regular educational sessions in order to grant adherence to all standards and processes. Patient surveys showed the areas with the need for further improvement. This is because continuous evaluation and improvement for the benefit of our patients also form part of our quality management. As a matter of fact, we do not only care for your health, but also for your satisfaction with all our services.
By the way, also our Center for Refractive Surgery Premium Eyes Düsseldorf has such a QM certificate since the end of 2009. Thus, you can rely upon highest quality of eye-surgical interventions - including refractive lens surgery.
